Life never flows in the direction you want, now does it? No matter how much we steer and paddle, destiny is the riptide that dictates our path.
Writing was my goal. The thing in the back of my mind that I dreamed to accomplish once I “Get There” in my career. Once I make it as a designer and developer, then I’ll have time to do what I love! And although I was writing every day, there was simply no time to dedicate to efficiently finish my manuscript. I was so determined to reach a state of comfort, then I could finally relax, have a cup of tea, and write till my little heart was content.
Fate, however, had other plans.
Learning to live within this new body and life, has been a challenge. But then like magic, life became better when I wrote. Writing guided me through the pain, taking out of the darkness. Even when migraines plagued me or my muscles seized, I could record my words for later. What a blessing to have such technology at our fingertips
I’ll be forever grateful to be alive, to have survived! But even more, I’ll be forever grateful that life forced me to sit down, have a cup of tea, and write.
