Hi, I’m L.A. Fowler, a passionate writer living my best life in the breathtaking mountain valleys of the Kootenays, BC. Living in a cozy and quaint tiny cottage amid forests, wildflowers, and butterflies, I share my days with Mochi, my mischievous Manx Ragdoll cat, and Lancelot, my lovable, goofy Bernese dog.
I’ve always held a deep passion for storytelling and dreamed of becoming an author since before I could even read! While my career initially flourished as a graphic designer, life took an unexpected turn, leading me to focus on my true passion: writing. Despite these challenges, my dedication to writing remains unwavering.
Inspired by folk stories and classic Grimm fairytales, my writing explores themes of freedom fighting, social justice, cooperation, and unbreakable friendships. I enjoy blending humor with the fantastical, weird, and frightening, creating a distinctive style that is both gothic and whimsical.
As a proud Asexual member of the LGBTQ+ community, feminist, and a woman with disabilities, I strive to highlight deep platonic friendships and the challenges of conflicting love.
