High stakes. Tactical chaos. Unmatched strength.
The Parlee is the most celebrated sport in Sessian history—a brutal fusion of strategy, endurance, and power. Often described as “gladiators meets capture the flag,” it’s a full-throttle competition where strength and cunning collide in an arena designed to test every limit.

 The Basics

The goal of Parlee is simple: control the arena.
Each match takes place in a circular battlefield divided into six distinct zones. Teams compete to activate and defend the beacons within these zones while protecting their own bases. When time runs out, the team controlling the most zones wins.

If a team loses both bases, they have five minutes to reclaim at least one—or face total elimination.

The Arena

The Parlee arena is infamous for its six treacherous zones, each with unique terrain and hazards:

  • Selrene: A haunted crypt filled with restless poltergeists—quick reflexes are everything.
  • Hysel: A deep pool where shock currents make every dive a risk.
  • Port: A rocky hillside demanding both strength and balance.
  • Lamorse: A mist-filled marsh that disorients even seasoned players.
  • Team 1 Base & Team 2 Base: Tower fortresses—defend them at all costs.

These environments ensure that no two matches ever play out the same.

Team Composition

Each Parlee team fields 12 players, each with specialized roles:

  • 5 Blockers: Defensive powerhouses built to hold the line (often Teraclod or Wildtrack Vrils).
  • 4 Runners: Fast and fearless, racing to capture zones (Astertiff and Wildtrack Vrils excel here).
  • 2 Taggers: Precision tacticians who neutralize opponents (Galepick or Astertiff Vrils).
  • 1 Leader: The strategist who calls plays and coordinates attacks (Portwave or Morseful Vrils).

 Game Flow

  1. Opening Move: Both teams launch from their bases, choosing to attack, defend, or infiltrate.
  2. Tagging System: Taggers can “tag” opponents, sending them to The Box—a central holding zone where they must wait two minutes before returning to play.
  3. Re-entry: Players return from The Box at the arena’s center, ensuring balance between teams.
  4. Endgame: When time expires, the team with the most controlled zones—or the last standing base—claims victory.

 League Structure

Parlee is played at every level of Sessian society, from small-town clubs to the global stage:

  • Community Parlee Clubs: Local and school-based teams (e.g. “I’m on the Little Toron Parlee team!”).
  • Regional Parlee Clubs: Top local teams battle for area dominance.
  • Junior National Parlee Association (Junior NPA): Rising stars training for pro-level play.
  • National Parlee Association (NPA): The elite league of the most skilled Sessians.
  • The Grand Parlee: The world championship—the ultimate test of strength, strategy, and survival.

Why Parlee Defines the Sessians

Parlee isn’t just a sport—it’s a statement. It embodies everything Sessians value: power, intelligence, teamwork, and fearless perseverance.

Every match is a spectacle of calculated risk, breathtaking athleticism, and raw Vril-fueled chaos.

No safe zones.
No second chances.
Only the strongest rise.
Only the legends endure.
